A Staging Consult Gives Sellers an Edge

Preparing to list your house for sale can be a daunting task. You know you're supposed to declutter and depersonalize, but to what extent? And what are the priority areas?

The first thing to do should be to consult with a professional home stager. A stager will take an objective look at your property, and make recommendations for improvements and changes based on proven techniques. Will it be a good return on investment to update bathroom hardware? Should we paint? What about our little girl's pink bedroom? Is my pet an issue?

DMDesign can answer all these questions, and more. We will come to your home, provide a 2-hour walking consultation, and follow it up with a full staging report complete with a to-do checklist, basic showing instructions, and a Top 10 list to help you prioritize.

Just take a look at what these homeowners were able to accomplish in only 4 days! A lot of "behind the scenes" closet decluttering and basement organizing is still going on, but they can continue to do this once it's listed. They focused first on the main areas of the house, especially those that will be photographed.
